When you pour the 4-stroke oil into your machine, it will be golden or amber in color. Over time, heat and dirt particles enter the engine, causing the oil to turn black. If you find dark oil inside the engine, then not only is it dirty but it has also lost much of its ability to protect engine components.

It is strongly recommended to change your engine's oil after every 25 hours of operation and for a new machine, you will need to change the oil after the first five hours of operation.
