RUBI diamond rubber crampons are semi-flexible and their EVA rubber body allows excellent adaptation to the user's hand. The clamping area has a side slot which increases the ergonomics of the block and reduces hand fatigue during use.
Diamond's rubber studs have been designed to work manually on areas where access with power tools is very difficult, such as inside corners, hollow areas or corners and for roughing and smoothing chipped edges or sharp.
To obtain a good result, you must take into account the type of material and the state in which it is found.
DIA RUBI diamond rubber studs can be used dry, but it is recommended to use them wet, either by moistening the plug or providing a continuous cooling source.
The RUBI range of diamond rubber studs is presented in different grain sizes to be able to carry out different polishing and finishing jobs. It is very important that, in polishing work, a staggered degradation is carried out using the different grains successively. Starting with the largest grain down to the smallest.
In roughing and/or edge smoothing work, the movement of the block should always be from the top (most visible) to the bottom. In this way, the risk of chipping or damage to the material is reduced.
The functions of the different particle sizes are:
#60, #120 and #200 for roughing.
#400 for polishing.
For a better finish, it is necessary to insist more with larger grains.
